How to apply online for CA May, 2015 Examination

There are two types of fee viz.
(i) Application Form Fee and
(ii) Examination Fee to be paid by the students who will made applications for admission to the Chartered Accountancy Intermediate (IPC) and CA Final examinations to be held in May, 2015.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) waived the cost of application form (Rs. 500) only if applications are filled in online at icaiexam.icai.org from 3rd February, 2015 to 24th February, 2015. However, you may also submit your CA exam form online upto 5.30 p.m. of 3rd March, 2015 with late fee of Rs. 500 and also remit the examination fee online by using either VISA or MASTER Credit/ Debit Card.

Many of our visitors asked a most important query “How to make payment for CA exam fee through Internet Banking Facility” and if there is not that facility then please request ICAI to make the facility for remit the CA examination fee online by using the internet banking as because they have no Master Credit/ Debit Cards.

We have a trick for those students who have not Credit/ Debit Cards (Master/ Visa/ Maestro) and willing to make payment online to save the CA examination application form fee of Rs. 500. Accordingly, you may now use the internet banking facilities of any bank for remit the CA exam fee online by generating Virtual Card to be used instead of VISA or MASTER Credit/ Debit Card.

We have received requests from lots of students and most of those have an account in the State Bank of India (SBI), therefore, we made the following step by step procedure to fill up the CA IPC and Final exam form and generate SBI virtual card to make payment of CA Exam fee online.

Similarly, you may also use the other banks (HDFC Bank/ Axis Bank/ ICICI Bank/ Kotak Mahindra Bank/ Central Bank of India etc.) internet banking facility for the same.

How to submit CA examination for online by using Internet Banking Facility: 

Step-1: Visit http://icaiexam.icai.org/registration.php and register yourself. Following 5 items/ details will be compulsorily required to fill up the registration form –
(a) Select the examination: Final or Intermediate (IPC)/ATE;
(b) Registration No.: Enter your 10 digit CA Reg. No. Please note that the first 3 character of your SRN (Student Registration Number) are alphabets and the remaining 7 are numbers;
(c) Date of Birth: In DD/MM/YYYY format;
(d) Email ID: Be careful as because all communication will be made by CA Institute to his primary email address; and
(e) Mobile No: Your 10 digit Indian mobile number. After successful registration ICAI will send the Login-id and password along with a unique Reference No. If you are already registered then login at icaiexam.icai.org by using your login-id and password already sent to your registered email ID. However, if you either forgot or did not get password, click here and fill up the required details like Reg. No. and DOB and ICAI will resend the login details at your mail box.

Step-2: Now, fill up the online CA IPC/ Final examination application form carefully.
Please do not fill more than one form at the same time on the same computer even if you are filling the two applications using different browsers or different tabs of the same browser.

Step-3: After successful filling the CA Exam form online you may proceed for payment the examination fee by using your VISA or MASTER Credit/ Debit Card.

However, all students who have not these cards may also make payment by using their internet banking facility to generate free of cost the Virtual Credit Card (VCC) of any bank e.g. SBI, HDFC, ICICI, Kotak Mahindra etc.

How to generate/ apply for a Virtual Credit Card in SBI (State Bank of India)?

Procedure: 3a) First of all login to your SBI online personal banking account at OnlineSBI and navigate to the e-Cards option present on the menu bar.

3b) Now, enter the examination fee to be applicable for CA IPC/ Final examinations and click on generate button.

You will see the account number which will be debited and card holder name along with virtual card limit you have specified. Don’t worry if you have entered wrong amount as you may click on the BACK button and specified right amount.

The fees payable for the various examinations are as under:
INTERMEDIATE EXAMINATION:
A) For Both the Groups / Unit – 9 Rs. 1600/- B) For one of the Groups / Unit 1 to 8 Rs. 1000/-

FINAL EXAMINATION: 
A) For Both the Groups Rs. 2250/- B) For one of the Groups Rs. 1250/-
3c) Enter the high security transaction password you will get in your mobile number and hit the conform button. Your Virtual Card has been created successfully.
3d) Please note down three most important details which will be required at the time of making payment online viz. a) 16 digit Card Number, b) Expiry Date (mm/yy) and Security Code (CVV). Similarly, you may also generate other banks virtual/Net/NetSafe Credit Card as the case may be for making payment online.

Step-4: Now, on the payment window select your preferred payment method as VISA
Step-5: In the open window you will see Axis Bank logo along with merchant name as the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Enter the card details as we have noted in Step-3d above and finally click on Pay Now button appearing on right bottom corner.
Step-6: After processing to verify by VISA you will get 8 digit One Time Password (OTP) generated from State Bank Secure token. Just enter the OTP and click on submit button.
Step-7: You will see a window for payment confirmation with various details. At the bottom there will be a message as “Your transaction is successful. Your PDF is being generated. ” along with a link for login again and download the PDF report.
